Our fantastic team were recognised in three categories in the 2012 Great British Care Awards.

The Home Care Innovator Award
At Mediline we support people to live their lives, their way.

We are always looking for ways to improve our services and so we were delighted to be awarded the Home Care Innovator Award in the West Midlands Regional 2012 Great British Care Awards.

The award recognised our innovative new care system which ensures we are able to identify how individuals have progressed and what additional measures are needed to enable people to achieve their goal – to live the life they choose.

We were also finalists in two other award categories:

The Home Care Coordinator Award
This award is given to the Home Care Coordinator who can demonstrate their knowledge and skill in utilising their team in an effective and efficient way, motivating and supporting staff whilst ensuring the service user remains at the heart of the service.

Mediline reached the final as it was clear we strongly believe in matching individuals with care staff to ensure person-centred care plans are delivered to the highest standards.

The Dementia Carer Award
This award is given to an individual who can reflect the specific skills needed to manage and deliver services sensitive to the needs of older people with dementia.

Our entry demonstrated that we are passionate about empowering people with dementia to live a full life, ensuring dignity, choice and independence. Care workers are trained using real-life examples to help them deliver care with dignity, empathy and confidence.
