Having a live-in or part-time companion/carer can be a bonus for both the recipient and family members. It is an economical and satisfactory way to have help whilst providing a companion for someone living on their own, enabling them to enjoy their independence. Live-in or part-time companions/carers can also attend on a short-term basis, for example, when a family member is on holiday or after hospitalisation.
We provide live-in and part-time companions/carers to meet the differing needs of each individual. These needs depend on health, ability and mobility. Basic duties typically include light housework, cooking, planning menus, shopping, attending social events with the client, transporting them, and generally helping them to maintain their independence.
For clients more incapacitated but who have a desire to remain in their own home the services of our more experienced carers can provide higher levels of personal care.
