• Earning up to £782 per working week! The role of Live-in Care Assistant is based on a working pattern of one week on duty and one week off duty.Your entire working week on duty is spent living with the client in their own home.As a Live-in Care Assistant you will assist in all aspects of your Service User's life, which will include supporting them to fulfill their needs, choices, interests & hobbies, including days out and socialising. Duties consist of, but are not limited to: • Assisting with personal care tasks, promoting dignity at all times • Supporting with the administration of medication (Training provided) • Supporting to meet nutritional needs and fluid intake • Supporting with the opening of and responding to mail • General housework and housekeeping • Interacting with your Service User, promoting independence & freedom of choice • Supporting to access the community - attending social events (Public house, gym, restaurant) • Driving your Service User to their chosen destination in their own vehicle (Depending on care package) Due to the location and requirements of our live-in care packages a driving licence is essential. Experience as a Care Worker - Care Assistant - Support Worker is preferred but not essential as full Care Certificate training is provided - with pay!
