We currently have a requirement for Community Support Workers to support a Service User at their family home in the village of Bradley (near Penkridge, Staffordshire).

Requirements

The role of Community Support Worker is an interesting and varied role where you will assist in all aspects of your Service User's life, which will include supporting them to fulfil their needs, choices, interests & hobbies, including days out and socialising. Duties consist of, but are not limited to: • Interacting with your Service User, promoting independence & freedom of choice • Supporting to access the community - attending social events (Public houses, restaurants, swimming, gym, trips out, day services, personal appointments) • Driving your Service User to their chosen destination, in their own vehicle • Assisting with personal care tasks, promoting dignity at all times • Sitting with your Service User to ensure their well-being • Supporting with specialised administration of medication (after full training) • Supporting to meeting nutritional needs and fluid intake l• General housework and housekeeping The nature of this role can involve you being with your Service User for up to a maximum of 9 hours per shift. Full clean driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive the Service User to their chosen destination, when required. ALL MEDILINE CARE WORKERS - CARE ASSISTANTS - SUPPORT WORKERS ARE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS SHIFTS ON A ROTA BASIS. (With days off in the week to compensate).
